28 Drunken Cupcakes

I'm sick with pneumonia and life is very overwhelming right now.  I can call off from work but I can't really call off from home.  Telling a mom/wife/homemaker that she needs to rest is a big fat joke.

I alternate between wishing for a cupcake and wishing for an icy fruity drink with lots of vodka or tequila.  It finally hit me - why not cupcakes and booze?

I searched "alcohol cupcakes" on Pinterest.  Let me tell you.. I was not disappointed.

You might ask, were 28 really necessary?  Yes, 28 were necessary.  It's been a LONG two weeks.  That's 2 cupcakes a day, which sounds reasonable.  You know, assuming I had someone to actually bake them for me.  In due time.  In the meantime, I'll have to settle for Motrin, antibiotics, Mucinex, and nasal spray.   Yay pneumonia!

2.  How cute are these teacups?  The bases are buttons.   I'm tempted to let my daughter invite some friends over for a tea party and do this as a craft during the party.
