Melted Crayon Art

Have you seen the melted crayon art on Pinterest?  If you aren't on Pinterest, perhaps on Etsy.

In case it's still not clear, it's art.  Made from melting crayons.  (You're welcome.)  

Honestly, it's not something I plan on doing anytime soon.  I'm not very crafty and the project screams messy.  I prefer my crayons safe in their box and, in a perfect world, snug tight with their color family and nicely sharpened.  

But, if it's something that you would like to try, a child shows you how to do it below.  If a child can do it, I could if I wanted to.  Probably.

 Some are clever and give the melty stuff some purpose.  Couple under the rain.

The heart is pretty nifty.  I've seen similar melty hearts with "you melt my heart" written in the middle.
