What it is,
In case it's still not clear, it's art. Made from melting crayons. (You're welcome.)
Honestly, it's not something I plan on doing anytime soon. I'm not very crafty and the project screams messy. I prefer my crayons safe in their box and, in a perfect world, snug tight with their color family and nicely sharpened.
But, if it's something that you would like to try, a child shows you how to do it below. If a child can do it, I could if I wanted to. Probably.
The heart is pretty nifty. I've seen similar melty hearts with "you melt my heart" written in the middle.
I really like this one. Enough to buy it, anyway, still not to make it myself.
I might let my kids do the project on a smaller scale. This is child-size cute.
This is thinking outside of the box. I like it, but it still doesn't speak to me.
So, today, I finally saw a melted crayon art project that I could solidly relate to. Nailed it!

If that elephant/giraffe one wasn't so expensive to ship, I'd totally buy that! So cool. I don't have the patience to do one myself, but they're all so pretty. Especially the couple under the umbrella! wow!
